Hi @40147234,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet 2810e has lost its connection to the internet, you can follow these steps to reconnect it.

Check Network Connection Basics:

  • Ensure that your wireless router is functioning correctly and that other devices can connect to the internet.

Printer Placement:

  • Place your printer within close proximity (about 8 meters or 26 feet) to your Wi-Fi router to ensure a strong network signal.

Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode:

  • Printers with a touchscreen: Open the Wireless or Setup menu, select Network Setup or Settings, and then choose Restore Network Settings.
  • Printers without a touchscreen: Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on your printer for about 5 seconds until the light starts to flash.

Use HP Smart App:

  • Download the HP Smart app from 123.hp.com to assist in setting up the printer again. Use the app to follow guided installation steps within 2 hours of restoring Wi-Fi setup mode.

Wireless Setup Wizard:

  • Use the Wireless Setup Wizard from your printer's control panel to search for and connect to your Wi-Fi network.

Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS):

  • If supported by your router, use the WPS method by pressing the WPS button on your router and then pressing and holding the Wi-Fi button on your printer.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart your printer, router, and the device you are trying to print from.

Check for Network Name and Password:

  • Make sure you are entering the correct Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password. This information is often found on a label on your router.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
