To update the Wi-Fi password on your HP Smart Tank Printer, follow these simple steps:

 

Using HP Smart App (Recommended)

  1. Connect your computer/phone to the new Wi-Fi.
  2. Open the HP Smart app on your device.
  3. Click on Printer Settings → Advanced Settings (EWS).
  4. Under Network → Wireless Settings, enter the new Wi-Fi credentials.
  5. Save the changes and restart your printer.

Using Wi-Fi Setup Mode

  1. Reset Wi-Fi on the Printer:
    • Press and hold the Wi-Fi button (or Wi-Fi + Cancel) for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi light blinks.
    • This puts the printer in Wi-Fi setup mode.
  2. Reconnect using HP Smart App:
    • Open the HP Smart app and add a new printer.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect it to the new Wi-Fi.

Using WPS (If Router Supports It)

  1. Press the WPS button on your router.
  2. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer for 3-5 seconds.
  3. Wait for the connection to establish.

After setting up, print a wireless test report from the printer settings to confirm the connection. Let me know if you need more help! 😊
