To update the Wi-Fi password on your HP Smart Tank Printer, follow these simple steps:
Using HP Smart App (Recommended)
- Connect your computer/phone to the new Wi-Fi.
- Open the HP Smart app on your device.
- Click on Printer Settings → Advanced Settings (EWS).
- Under Network → Wireless Settings, enter the new Wi-Fi credentials.
- Save the changes and restart your printer.
Using Wi-Fi Setup Mode
- Reset Wi-Fi on the Printer:
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button (or Wi-Fi + Cancel) for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi light blinks.
- This puts the printer in Wi-Fi setup mode.
- Reconnect using HP Smart App:
- Open the HP Smart app and add a new printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect it to the new Wi-Fi.
Using WPS (If Router Supports It)
- Press the WPS button on your router.
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer for 3-5 seconds.
- Wait for the connection to establish.
After setting up, print a wireless test report from the printer settings to confirm the connection. Let me know if you need more help! 😊
