Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

Same issue here:  In my work area I have the HP 7855, an HP Pavilion A-I-O 27", and an HP Pavilion A-I-One 24".  The 27" is running Win10, the 21" is running Win11.  Both have the same issue: EVERY TIME THEY REBOOT, the printer goes off-line; the only remedy I have found is to delete and reinstall the printer - and they usually have new IP addresses &/or WSD ID's.  This has been happening for the past few months.  TODAY, however, the 27" will not allow me to reinstall the printer - period.  This is NOT acceptable.  My home currently has THREE HP All-in-Ones, two HP Laptops, and two Envy 7855 Printers.  HP has been our go-to for computing products for years (make that decades).   Please push this up on your priority list, as I am apparently not the only one being plagued with this issue.

@beckinista, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are not able to reinstall the printer. Install the printer using the TCP/IP port:

Check for any pending Windows updates first.

  1. On the PC, go to Control panel > Devices and printers > Remove the existing printer entry > click on Add a printer(at the top)
  2. Under 'Choose a device or printer', click on 'The printer I want isn't listed'.
  3. Select 'Add a printer using a TCP/IP address'
  4. Find the IP address of the printer by tapping on the wireless/ethernet icon on the printer screen
  5. Type in the 'IP address in Hostname or IP address' box, click next
  6. Proceed to the next steps by following the on-screen instructions.

Try printing. Open File > Print.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
