Hp deskjet 3755 I had nothing but problems with this printer has been offline since I changed internet providers

when I thought I solved the problem now it is error state  I’ve had issues since I purchased it I know hp is a good company but there should be a recall on this one

The "Printer in Error State" message for the HP DeskJet 3755 can be due to a variety of reasons such as connectivity issues, driver problems, or hardware faults. Here’s a step-by-step approach to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

1. Check Connections

  • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to the power source and the computer.
  • Verify that the USB cable is securely connected if using a wired connection.
  • If using a wireless connection, ensure that the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.

2. Restart the Printer and Computer

  • Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, wait for about 60 seconds, and then plug it back in.
  • Restart your computer as well to refresh the connection.

3. Check for Paper Jams

  • Open the printer cover and check for any paper jams.
  • Remove any stuck paper and ensure there are no small pieces left inside.

4. Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Go to the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for the HP DeskJet 3755.
  • Uninstall the existing printer software from your computer before installing the new drivers.

5. Check for Windows Updates

  • Ensure that your Windows operating system is up to date. Sometimes, missing updates can cause compatibility issues.

6. Set as Default Printer

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on the HP DeskJet 3755, and select Set as default printer.

7. Clear Print Queue

  • Navigate to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on your printer and select See what's printing.
  • Cancel all documents in the queue.

8. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • HP Print and Scan Doctor is a free tool provided by HP to diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems.
  • Download and run the tool from the HP website.

9. Verify Printer Status

  • Ensure that the printer status is not set to offline.
  • Right-click on the printer icon in Devices and Printers, and make sure "Use Printer Offline" is not checked.
