I have to connect my printer to a new wifi at my home. I uninstalled it then went back to reinstall but I keep getting this message when trying to add: “fax.backend” will damage your computer. I think this has been a problem for many others but I can not determine how to work around this. Any help would be appreciated. Also, I'm not really sure if my printer is Inkjet. Thank you. Julie

Hi@julieagg,

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to connect the printer to your wireless network.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you run the HP printer and scan doctor and it will automatically find and fix connectivity issues.

Download HP Print and Scan Doctor and run the program.

Praveenbv, Hi, in the meantime I was able to get the printer working with my new wifi. I really don't remember what steps I took. I was able to find the step by step instructions for the HP printer to reconnect. Thanks, Julie
