DeskJet 3755

I don't know the password to the Embedded Web Server for my DeskJet 3755, so I would like to perform a full reset on the printer so I can access its settings again. Could someone provide me with the steps for this? I have tried the Wireless Settings Reset procedure already (holding Cancel + Wireless for 3 seconds). This did not reset the EWS password.

Trying to tag @Riddle_Decipher, like as advised in this post: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printing-Errors-or-Lights-Stuck-Print-Jobs/Deskjet-3755-Lost-Password/... . Is there a trick for tagging people in this forum?

Hi @brandonaut,

I'd like to help!

@Riddle_Decipher is unavailable, I can helo you with the query.

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
