Hi @Paige49 ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you want to reset the Wi-Fi passcode on your HP Tango X printer, you'll need to perform a factory reset. Here's how you can do it:
- Turn on the Printer: Ensure that your HP Tango X printer is turned on.
- Press and Hold the Wireless Button: Locate the wireless button on the back of the printer. Press and hold this button for about 5 seconds until the Power button blinks.
- Release the Button: After the Power button blinks, release the wireless button. The printer will now restart.
- Reconnect to Wi-Fi: After the printer restarts, it will be in a factory default state. You'll need to set it up again, including connecting it to your Wi-Fi network. During this setup process, you'll have the opportunity to create a new Wi-Fi passcode.
- Setup using HP Smart App or Printer Control Panel: You can use the HP Smart App on your smartphone or tablet to set up the printer or directly through the printer's control panel.
- Using HP Smart App: Install the HP Smart App on your device, follow the instructions to add a new printer, and follow the prompts to reconnect your HP Tango X printer to Wi-Fi.
- Using Printer Control Panel: You can also set up the Wi-Fi connection directly from the printer's control panel. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect to Wi-Fi and enter the new Wi-Fi passcode when prompted.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
