I have changed my wireless network, and I am now unable to connect to my printer.  I need to reset my printer to factory default so that I can re-configure it for my new wireless network

Hi @pschurtz,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To reset your HP Envy 6000 printer to factory defaults, follow these steps:

1. Power On the Printer

  • Make sure the printer is turned on and ready.

2. Access the Settings Menu

  • On the printer's control panel, tap the Wireless icon, then go to Settings or Network Settings.

3. Restore Network Settings

  • Look for an option like Restore Network Settings or Reset Network Defaults and select it. Confirm the action.

4. Factory Reset (if needed)

  • If you need a full factory reset, press and hold the Cancel and Wireless buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds until the printer resets.

5. Reconnect to Wi-Fi

  • After the reset, reconnect your printer to your new wireless network using the printer’s control panel or the HP Smart app.

6. Reconfigure the Printer

  • Follow the prompts to set up the printer again with your new network details.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

There is no control panel. There are just buttons, no screen. This is not helpful.

Also any other methods mentioned do not work.
