Hi @RMVA,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for reaching out. We’ll be happy to help you get your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 connected to your new Wi-Fi network.

Please follow these steps to restore the network settings and reconnect using the HP Smart app:

Step 1: Restore Network Settings on Your Printer

  1. From the printer control panel, swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, then tap the Setup icon.
  2. Tap Network Setup.
  3. Tap Restore Network Settings.
  4. When prompted with a message that network defaults will be restored, tap Yes.
  5. After restoring, print a Network Configuration Page to confirm that the network settings have been reset.

Step 2: Reinstall and use the HP Smart App

  1. Uninstall the HP Smart app from your device (if already installed).
  2. Download and reinstall the latest version from HP Smart - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store.
  3. Open the app and select Set Up a New Printer.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to your new Wi-Fi network.
    • Ensure your device is connected to the same network during setup.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
