Hi @Cswords,
I'd like to help!
I understand the printer is not printing the reports.
To assist better-
Are you able to make copies using the printer?
While you respond to that, let's try a printer reset -
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -
a.Load letter or A4 unused plain white paper into the input tray.
b. Depending on your operating system, do one of the following to open the printer software:
● Windows 8: On the Start screen, right-click an empty area on the screen, click All Apps on the app bar, and then click the icon with the printer's name.
● Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP: From the computer desktop, click Start, select All Programs, click HP, click HP Deskjet 2640 series, and then click HP Deskjet 2640 series.
c. In the printer software, click Print, Scan & Fax , and then click Maintain Your Printer to access the printer toolbox. ENWW Improve print quality 81
d. Click Print Diagnostic Information on the Device Reports tab to print a diagnostics page. Review the blue, magenta, yellow, and black boxes on the diagnostics page.
Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.
