Hi every body's
i have problem when with SNMP on Printer .Disabling SNMP in HP printers will increase the time of printing. This is while even if a password is used to activate the SNMP function, the printing speed will still decrease. Hi @Gunsman,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like you're facing an issue with SNMP on your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fn printer. SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is often used for monitoring and managing network devices. If you're experiencing a decrease in printing speed when SNMP is enabled, or even with a password, it can be frustrating.
Here are a few steps you can take to address the issue:
Firmware Update: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed, You can check the HP support website for your printer model to find and install the latest firmware.
SNMP Configuration: If you need SNMP for monitoring purposes, try configuring it with the minimum necessary settings. This may involve adjusting SNMP settings in the printer's web interface. Ensure that you're using a secure and strong password for SNMP if you decide to enable it.
Network Troubleshooting: Check your network for any issues that might be affecting communication with the printer. Issues such as network congestion or connectivity problems can impact SNMP performance.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.-
