As many others have reported, when I download and run the 2011A Oct 31, 2020 firmware installer for this exact Printer product model, my printer appears in the dialog box, but the selection box cannot be checked.  The "status" column in the dialog box does not say "Ready." It says "Not applicable."

 

As with the others reporting the issue, the current firmware version of this printer is CKP1CN1829AR.  This version seems to have frequent connection issues for the past few years that I hope this upgrade will resolve. 

 

It seems that for several others reporting this exact problem on this support website, a private instruction has been provided to RESET the printer so that the upgrade can be applied.

 

I expect a solution to be provided soon if HP wants me to continue to purchase their printer products.
