Hello, I’m trying scan a document to my printer to email to myself. For some reason, it won’t do it. I’ve been able to do this in the past. I get an error message saying printer unable to connect to the Web Services.

@DiDi91, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

Are you trying to use the 'scan to email' feature on the printer?

Have you tried scanning a document to the computer and check if that works?

Note: If you have not made any changes to the printer, it could be that the web services are down. You may have to wait for a day or two for it to be fixed by HP.

Refer to this document to know how to turn on web services.

Make sure the printer is connected to the internet.

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your PC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

If the issue persists, perform the steps mentioned in this document - Cannot Connect to Web Services

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
