Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8034e All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Whenever my computer has been on for a while, the "scan to computer" shortcut stops working. This has been true since I bought this printer, and it happens on both W/11 AND W/10. The most effective way to fix this is to exit all programs, reboot the computer and reboot the printer. I reckon I lose an hour a week doing this.
Over the past year, I have uninstalled, downloaded, and reinstalled the software several times. I have unplugged the printer, waited the requisite amount of time, and reinstalled everything. I have run the software on on different laptops.
No matter, when a computer has been on for a while, the program fails.
