Scan to email not working

Hello,

I used to have Scan to Email function working. Then I had general problems with the printer ending up in a Bluescreen. So I made a factory reset with my printer. Since then I am not able to use the Scan to Email function anymore. I am using a local SMTP Server on an Synology NAS. Test Emails are propably send my the Printer from the Webinterface, so the SMTP Connection is working. 

However, If I send and email with scanned attachment I see in the protocol of the SMTP server, that it gets two send jobs. One to the email I would like to send to and one to itself which fails. The "from" email in the webconfig is: "druckbert@...".

Is / Are any of the profile addresses attached to Gmail?

This provider recently stomped on Less Secure Passwords - this feature is permanently switched OFF.

The change was implemented 30-May-2022.

Thx, but I am not using Gmail as smtp. I am using my local nas server to do the job.

You are welcome.

As long as none of your email profiles need to go through G-Mail mail security, then the idea is not relevant.

I don't have smtp mail service enabled on our NAS, If I can find my notes on the subject, I'll post back.
