Hi @waghjiboys,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing issues with the Wi-Fi password for your Smart Tank 585 and it's not working, here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot the problem.

  • Double-check the Password: Ensure that you are entering the Wi-Fi password correctly. Passwords are case-sensitive, so make sure you're using the correct uppercase and lowercase letters.
  • Reset the Password: If you are certain that you are entering the correct password and it's still not working, you might consider changing the Wi-Fi password on your Smart Tank 585. This can typically be done through the tank's web interface or a mobile app provided by the manufacturer.
  • Reboot Your Smart Tank 585: Sometimes, simply rebooting the Smart Tank can resolve connectivity issues. Unplug the power source, wait for a few seconds, and then plug it back in.
  • Check for Network Issues: Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is working properly. Try connecting other devices to your Wi-Fi to see if the issue is isolated to the Smart Tank 585.
  • Firmware Update: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your Smart Tank 585. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve connectivity problems.
  • Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset on your Smart Tank 585. Be aware that this will erase all your settings, and you will need to reconfigure the tank from scratch. Consult the user manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.

Always keep in mind that your Smart Tank's Wi-Fi password should be kept secure. If you're still having trouble, it may be worthwhile to reset the password and ensure it's unique and strong to prevent unauthorized access.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
