Select to Print Non-photo document in Photo Tray

I am trying to print a non-photo document tin 4x6 format but cannot select the photo tray for printing. When I try to do this there is no option to select the photo tray..  it just defaults to the main tray..Can this be done?

The Photo Tray in this printer model supports Photo Paper.

Load your supported not-Photo Paper in the main tray.

Although not mentioned for this model, the printer might support Index paper weight / type at 200 gsm.

NOTE >> HP might call this type of paper "HP Card" or "Card"

If the paper can be used --

Set the Tray and Paper in EWS

AND

Set the appropriate Paper Size / Type AND Source (Tray) settings in your print application job setup.

Classic EWS - InkJet Printers

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper (Management)

Select / Adjust settings for Paper Size / Type

Model and EWS version Dependent:  Advanced section

Click Apply to save changes
