Hp 6520 photosmart series
iOS

Was able to print/scan from iPad iOS 12.x.x a couple of weeks ago to my hp6520. Now I can’t do either. The latest hp smart app will only download if iOS is 13.x.x or later. My iPad cannot be updated but even if it could, the latest hp smart app doesn’t support my printer. My printer is still good and the wireless connection is connected to printer and iPad. “No wireless printer found.” When trying to print from iPad.  Connected to the WiFi but not the server. The only thing that still works is the copy function. I’ve tried rebooting, unplugging, reset factory defaults, etc and all printer reports indicate there are no problems. Everything passes. How can I get my functionality back to interface with my iPad like it did a couple of weeks ago?

Please ensure the printer has the latest Firmware https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16

Then try assigning a Manual IP Address

- Print a Network Config Page from the printer. Note the printer's IP address.

- Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.

- Choose the Networking tab, then Wireless along the left side, then the IPv4 tab.

- On this screen you want to set a Manual IP. You need to set an IP address outside the range that the router automatically sets (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') to 250

- Use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet (unless you know it is different, if so, use that)

- Enter your router's IP (on the Network Config Page) for the gateway.

- Enter 8.8.8.8 for the first DNS and 8.8.4.4 for the second DNS. This is Google DNS.

- Click 'Apply'.

Next try connecting the printer using Airprint https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/ish_1946968-1947068-16https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/is...
