i came back from 3 days away from my home office, attempted to remotely print from my phone. found orange, no copy, light flashing and begun examination. performed basic suggestions; unplug etc. HP smart app shows printer previously installed but offline, as well as my router is not recognizing the long time installed WiFi printer. Restarted the router and laptop, but still no access to the printer. your comments are appreciated.

I understand that you are facing issues with Service Code 79.

 

To factory reset your HP LaserJet MFP M234dw Printer, you can follow these steps:

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Press and hold the Resume button for about 10-15 seconds.
  3. While holding the Resume button, turn on the printer.
  4. Continue holding the Resume button until all three LEDs (Resume, Attention, and Ready) are lit solid.
  5. Release the Resume button.
  6. The printer will reset to its factory settings and will restart.

Please note that performing a factory reset will erase all settings and preferences, including network settings and printer language settings. Make sure to reconfigure the printer settings after the reset as needed.
