Hi @Dicky83,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

To connect your HP 2700 series printer to a new Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:

Step 1: Prepare for Installation

  1. Ensure Your Network is Ready: Turn on your Wi-Fi router and ensure your devices are connected to the Wi-Fi network.
  2. Gather Credentials: Have your network name (SSID) and password ready.

Step 2: Use the HP app on Your Device

  1. Download the HP App: If you haven't already, download the HP App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). You can also download it.

  2. Open the HP App: Launch the app on your device.

Step 3: Connect Your Printer

  1. Add Your Printer: In the app, tap on “Add Printer” or tap the “+” sign, then follow the on-screen instructions.

  2. Connect to Wi-Fi: If prompted, follow the steps to connect your printer via Wi-Fi Setup. This will involve selecting your network and entering the password.

Step 4: Wireless Setup Wizard (If Required)

If your printer has a control panel with a display, you can use the Wireless Setup Wizard:

  1. On the Printer's Control Panel: Tap or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the dashboard, then tap the Wi-Fi icon.
  2. Select Wireless Setup Wizard: Tap the settings icon, then Wireless Settings, and finally Wireless Setup Wizard.
  3. Follow On-Screen Instructions: The printer will list available networks. Select your network and enter the password.

Step 5: Confirm Connection

  • Check the Wi-Fi Icon: A solid blue light on the Wi-Fi button indicates that the printer is connected to the network.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
