Hi @Erasmus10

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

Could you please elaborate in detail?

If you want a network key then the easiest way to find your Wi-Fi security key is

1. Check Your Router:

  • The easiest way to find your Wi-Fi security key is to check your router. Many routers have a label on the back or bottom that displays the default Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.

2. Access Router Settings:

  • If the default password has been changed, you can access your router’s settings:
    • Open a web browser and enter the router's IP address (commonly 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1).
    • Log in with the router’s admin credentials (if you haven't changed these, they may also be on the router).
    • Navigate to the Wireless or Wi-Fi settings section to find the security key.

Using the Wi-Fi Networks Before starting, you will need to know the network name (SSID) of your wireless network and the network key if it is encrypted. This information was set when the access point (or wireless router) was installed. If you do not know about your wireless environment, please ask the person who set up your network.

1 Select the (Menu) > Network > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Settings button on the control panel. Or, Press the (Wireless), access to the Wi-Fi menu.

2 Press the OK to select the setup method you want.

• Wizard (recommended): In this mode, the setup is automatic. The machine will display a list of available networks from which to choose. After a network is chosen then printer will prompt for the corresponding security key.

• Custom: In this mode, users can give or edit manually their own SSID, or choose the security option in detail. 3 Follow the instructions to set up the wireless network.

You can print Network Configuration Report from the machine’s control panel that will show the current machine’s network settings. This will help you to set up a network.

  • Press the (Menu) button on the control panel and select Network > Network Conf. . Using this Network Configuration Report, you can find your machine’s MAC address and IP address.

Please refer to the user guide, Click HERE

If printer is asking any key, use 12345 or 12345678

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
