Hi @JulieW2004,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
That must be so frustrating—especially when you're trying to print something as specific as a shipping label, only to have it come out incorrectly formatted. Let’s work on a solution together.
- Are you printing the shipping labels directly from a specific website or software (e.g., Adobe, USPS, UPS)?
- Have you checked if the print settings (e.g., paper size, scaling) match the dimensions of the shipping label?
- Does the issue happen with all shipping labels or only specific ones?
Let's try these steps.
Check the Paper Size in Print Settings
- Before printing, ensure the selected paper size matches your label size (e.g., 4"x6").
- In the print dialog box, verify there is no "Fit to Page" or scaling option selected.
Update the Printer Driver
- Go to the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your OfficeJet Pro 9015.
- Install the update and restart your computer to apply changes.
Save and Print as PDF
- If printing directly from a website or shipping service, try saving the label as a PDF first.
- Open the PDF in a viewer like Adobe Reader and print it with the correct dimensions.
Check for Firmware Updates
- Using the HP Smart app or the printer menu, check for and install any available firmware updates for your printer.
- Updated firmware often resolves compatibility issues with printing software.
Test with a Different Application or Device
- Try printing the shipping label from another device or application to see if the issue persists.
- This can help identify if the problem is with the printer, the device, or the source file.
