Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

I'm having the very same issue with my printer and I'm ready to throw it into the garbage.  HP smart is problematic losing my printer and when it does find it then it can't print the document.  Print quality tools report an error if I try to use them to print.

I've had it tell me my ink was low when all tanks are completely full.  I've looked for firmware and driver updates but there are none to be found.  HP you've sold us a lemon and you need to fix it.

My other problem with it is network security.  It worked fine for a while then suddenly it wants to connect to other users on the network even though I had it set to not allow anyone but me.  Someone else has the same printer and my printer tries to do their work and their printer yields to my printer so they lose connection to theirs in lieu of mine.  When they try to scan from their unit my unit gives them a blank page because they were supposed to be scanning from their unit not mine which has nothing in it to scan.

Needless to say I'm left very frustrated especially in light of how much this unit cost me.
