Common problems for Connectivity Issues

My printer was working fine and all of a sudden, I can't use the Smart app because it is not on the supported list. Can anyone help me?

@TOPCAT67, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I understand you are not able to print from your phone using the HP Smart app.

 

The HP Smart app is compatible with Android 7.0 and later.

 

Check for any software updates on the Android device

 

Reinstall the app from Play Store.

For more info, refer to - HP printer setup (HP Smart app)

  • Make sure the printer and the Android device are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.
