When I first thought it was a good deal on ink I signed up thinking I would be getting ink whenever it ran out mailed to my doorstep at a cheaper price no big deal. It even started with them sending me ink a little before when I needed it also no big deal but then something changed where my printer was continually being locked down for going over my printer page allotment or for missing a payment on my monthly HP subscription . to me this is absolutely bonkers and my friends feel the same way. How is it possible that this company can control how much I print and how I print remotely unless I give them six dollars a month plus the cost of ink? And if you haven’t read the small print, if you want to stop the program, you can no longer use the cartridges they provided for you and you must purchase your own somewhere else altogether! the entire idea of this seems like a desperate scramble to force their customers into paying money on things other than printers and toner and I have no clue why someone approved this because I feel Violated because now a company is intervening with workflow and this a printer lockdown could occur at any instance unless I am on top of counting the number of pages I print and knowing exactly when a payment is due or when it will be charged . How is this not  illegal?????? .

In HP ink subscription you are paying monthly for printed pages, not for ink, ink is free.

Everything you print above your monthly subscription is charged extra, and if you cancel subscription free ink you received during subscription will stop working.
