Product: HP DeskJet 2742e All-in-One Printer
Operating System: iOS

On my Printer HP Deskjet 2742e, since the day I purchased it till today I have a still(Not blinking, not flashing!) orange light next to the i button. I do not have any visible  error message.  I use iOS(ipad) and a wifi connection for my printer.  What does this mean and how can I fix it!? To my understanding this could be an error light. 
However, the printer information page I printed from my printer, states “the printer is not connected to the internet”  although I’m able to print documents from the internet! My printer is connected to the internet with a wifi connection.
