Hi @Ket89,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

We understand how important it is to keep your printer connected, especially for using HP Instant Ink services.

To assist you better, could you please let us know:

  • Your printer model
  • Are you seeing any error messages in the HP app or on the printer screen?

Step 1: Check the printer network connection

  • Make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your device
  • On the printer control panel:
    • Go to Wireless / Network settings
    • Check if it shows Connected

Step 2: Restart all devices

  1. Turn OFF the printer
  2. Restart your Wi-Fi router
  3. Turn the printer back ON

👉 This refreshes the connection and often resolves “offline” issues

Step 3: Reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi

  • Use the HP app
    1. Open the app
    2. Click Add Printer / +
    3. Follow the setup steps to reconnect

👉 This ensures the printer is properly linked to your network

Step 4: Check HP account (Instant Ink)

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!

Model of my printer HP DeskJet2700 All-in -One Printer

The printer is connected to the same network as the device and it prints with regular ink, but it cannot connect to the Instant Ink service; it shows that the printer is not connected to the network.
