Hi @Charlie5559,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I understand that you are facing connectivity issues. I’d like to help!
Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only.
When your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010e indicates it is connected to the internet but the Wi-Fi light is not operating, and you're unable to connect with your Windows 11 laptop, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:
Step 1: Restart Printer and Laptop
- Restart Printer:
- Turn off the printer, wait for 10-15 seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Restart Laptop:
- Restart your Windows 11 laptop.
Step 2: Check Wi-Fi Connection
- Printer Settings:
- On the printer's control panel, navigate to the Wi-Fi settings and ensure that the correct Wi-Fi network is selected and the password is correct.
- Windows Settings:
- On your Windows 11 laptop, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi and ensure that Wi-Fi is turned on and the correct network is selected.
- Reconnect to Wi-Fi:
- Try reconnecting the printer to the Wi-Fi network using the printer's control panel or the HP Smart app.
Step 3: Update Printer Firmware
- Download Firmware Update:
- Go to the HP Support website and search for your printer model.
- Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer.
- Install Firmware Update:
- If updates are available, download and install them following the instructions on the HP Support website.
Note: The remaining steps are shared in the next post. Kindly check.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Step 6: Check for Interference
- Distance and Obstructions:
