@Charlyn325, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

To connect your HP printer to Alexa, follow these steps:

Prepare Your Printer: Ensure your printer is turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Alexa device.

Enable HP Printer Skill in Alexa:

  • Open the Alexa app on your smartphone or go to the Alexa Skills Store on your computer.
  • Search for the "HP Printer" skill.
  • Click on the skill and select "Enable."

Link Your HP Account:

  • You will be prompted to sign in with your HP account.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to link your HP account to Alexa.

Discover Devices:

  • After enabling the HP Printer skill, ask Alexa to discover devices by saying "Alexa, discover devices".
  • Alexa will search for any compatible printers on your network.

Use Voice Commands: Once your printer is connected, you can use voice commands to manage your printer tasks. For example:

  • "Alexa, ask my printer to print shopping list."
  • "Alexa, ask my printer to scan a document."

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
