Hi @josie-Girl, thanks for posting. Sorry to hear your printer is offline or won't connect.
After a move the printer still has the old home's Wi-Fi saved, so it needs to be reconnected to the new network as shown below. Please share the exact printer model if you need model-specific button steps.
This usually happens after a router change, a Wi-Fi password change, or when the printer and computer end up on different networks.
- Restart the router, the printer and the computer.
- Make sure the printer and the computer are on the same network (most HP printers need the 2.4 GHz band).
- Restore the printer's network settings (Wireless menu or Wi-Fi + Cancel buttons for 5 seconds, depending on the model).
- Reconnect it with the HP Smart app: https://123.hp.com
- On Windows, run HP Smart > Diagnose & Fix or HP Print and Scan Doctor.
If it still won't connect, please share any error shown in HP Smart. Let me know how it goes!

This issue was discovered on an HP ENVY Photo 7155, but I believe it exists on other wireless printers.
When entering the wireless network password via the front panel, the password that is stored is SILENTLY TRUNCATED ! After wasting almost 3 hours, I finally discovered it when I requested a status report and click the "do not hide" icon for the password !
The solution is to enter the router setup and change the password to something shorter.

Hi @Theoldwizard1, thanks a lot for sharing this tip. A truncated Wi-Fi password is very hard to spot, and checking it in the network status report is a great idea.
For anyone with the same issue, other ways to avoid typing a long password on the front panel are: connecting with the HP app (Add printer), using WPS from the router, or entering the password from the printer's Embedded Web Server (type its IP address in a browser > Network > Wireless).

"A truncated Wi-Fi password is very hard to spot, and checking it in the network status report is a great idea."
That was 3 hours of my life I will never get back. I even did a "factory reset" on the WiFi router (which of course meant I had to reset the WiFi network name and password) just to eliminate that being a possible problem. I kept at the problem because I had it working perfectly on a different WiFi network the day before !
"... using WPS from the router ..."
I tried it, but it did not work !
" ...or entering the password from the printer's Embedded Web Server."
That model does NOT have hard wired ethernet ! I could get into EWS though a USB-B cable to my laptop and HP Smart software, but because I was using USB, it would not let me change any network settings !
