Hi @AMY_H123,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand you’re trying to reconnect your printer to a new Wi-Fi network, but the setup isn’t completing. Let’s go through a few steps that usually get the printer connected again.

Restart the printer and your Wi-Fi router
Turn the printer off, unplug your router for 10 seconds, then power both back on.
This clears old network info and helps the printer detect the new signal.

Run the Wireless Setup on the printer again
On the printer, go to Wireless → Settings → Wireless Setup Wizard.
Select your new Wi-Fi name and enter the correct password carefully.

Make sure the Wi-Fi password is correct
If the password is long or contains special characters, try typing it slowly.
One wrong character will stop the printer from joining the network.

Check the distance between printer and router
Make sure the printer is in the same room or within a few meters of the router.
Weak signals can make the connection fail.

Use the HP Smart app to add the printer again
Open HP Smart → Add Printer → Set Up a New Printer.
Follow the on-screen steps; the app helps push the Wi-Fi details to the printer.

Reset the network settings on the printer
On the printer, go to Wireless → Settings → Restore Network Settings.
After that, run the Wireless Setup Wizard again to connect fresh.

Ensure your Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz
Most HP printers do not support 5 GHz networks.
If your router has both bands, choose the 2.4 GHz network during setup.

I hope this helps.
