HP Photosmart 7525 e-All-in-One Printer

My printer will not connect to my new router.  The printer's wireless network test results indicate that the router has MAC address filtering enabled.  After contacting the router provider (who is also my ISP), I determined that MAC address filtering is not enabled on the router.  I have tried all of HP's troubleshooting steps and cannot connect.

If you're unable to connect your printer to a new, dual-band router, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Make sure your printer and router are turned on and properly connected to power.

  2. Check that your printer is compatible with the new dual-band router. Some older printers may not work with newer routers.

  3. Ensure that you are connecting to the correct wireless network on your printer. Double-check the network name (SSID) and password.

  4. Try restarting your printer and router. This can often resolve connectivity issues.

  5. If the printer still cannot connect to the new router, consider resetting the printer's network settings. This may involve restoring the printer to its factory default settings.

  6. If none of the above steps work, consult your printer's manual or contact the manufacturer's support team for further assistance.

Remember that connecting a printer to a new router may require some additional setup steps beyond simply connecting to the wireless network, such as configuring IP settings or installing drivers on your computer. Be patient and persistent in your troubleshooting efforts.
