Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've used my HP3700 many times to print from my Windows 10 Laptop...All of a sudden, I can't print anything from laptop, but able to from phone...I can not figure out what the problem is!  No message comes up with an error, or unable to print...I need help!

@gypsyldy, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I understand you are not able to print from your Win PC. To assist you better, how is the printer connected?

  • If you are able to print from your phone, it means the printer hardware is working fine.
  • Which application are you trying to print from?
  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.

Hi Kumar0307,

 

Well, while playing with this for days now, and trying everything possible, it now no longer prints from my phone!!  I'm going insane here!!  From my phone, I just printed up a picture of a black and white document I had taken a picture of...and it printed it out...then it didn't work anymore, so I removed the app, but to do so, I had to discontinue the ink program I was on with HP...and I'm almost out of black ink! 

From my laptop, I was trying to print some PDF files...it worked, but wouldn't complete the process...Now, I can't even get my printer (wireless) on-line....It's the HP3700...the blue light by the internet icon just keeps blinking...I have turned my router off, along with the printer...turned everything back on numerous times...no luck whatsoever!!  I just do not get it!  I used the HP Doctor, and it says a problem with the ink alignment...I did what I could on that aspect, and doubt that would stop the printer from operating correctly!  I am out of options, and considering just buying a different printer, which is too bad...I really liked this one...

If the printer is not enrolled in Instant Ink anymore, you cannot use the Instant Ink cartridges. You will have to use the regular HP ink cartridges.

 

To connect the printer to a wireless network, refer to - Connecting an HP Printer Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
