HP OfficeJet Pro 9130e All-in-One Printer

I am trying to install this printer for multiple windows 11 devices but keep getting the driver not available message next to the printer when trying to add. I have removed the printer and tried to re-add and not worked. I have installed HP Smart and the printer does not appear in Windows Print Queue. I have removed HP Smart and installed the Full Driver package and still it is not appearing in the windows printer and scanner menu.

I have went to Device Manager and tried to remove any bad drivers and nothing for HP. Please assist urgently as purchased 2 of these devices and not working on the network. I went with HP as it was a leading printer and looks like times have changed now

(1). Try to install your printer with the next driver:

>> https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/OJP9130/HPEasyStart-16.2.4-OJP9130_58_2_1857_Webp...

 

(2). Restart your computer.

 

(3). Test functionality sending a document to Print.

Hi 

So to install this driver do I just download the file and run it or use the Add Printer wizard?

I've spent all day and no idea how I got it to work on one machine where I took the printer out the box and then followed prompts on screen and then the printer asked me to go on laptop and download HP Smart.

 

Hp Smart appears in my printer queue but when I installed it for other users it is not showing printer and scanner list

Yes, just download the file and run it and follow the steps until finish setup process.

Thank you for sharing I will give this another go once I get hold of the end user. It seems like a numerous people are experiencing this mainly with HP printers. I use to always by printers from HP 10 years ago and sadly the install method is rather complex and problematic and not like before.

I will report my findings.

I have tried to install the driver you recommended on a Windows 11 Pro laptop after removing all faulty drivers and unfortunately been stuck on this screen for over 3 hours!

I tried to extract the driver also and use 'have disk' option to link the INF file and that does not work either. Really need help or support with this as got a whole office that spend hundreds of dollars on new printer and unable to use:
