Unable to communicate with the web services server

Just want to go to apps and print a quick form, but as the printer cannot connect to the web services server, it's a no go.

opened up the HP 8630 software on the computer and clicked on the HP Connected link and it gave me "unable to communicate with the web services server" error, so 2 different devices are giving me the same error, is there an actual problem with the server? why is this so difficult to print a quick form? Previous HP printers have had these forms embedded in the printer and no web connection was required, why can't it be like this now?

The guide had already been followed, web services turned off, the removed, and then turned back on. It is strange I can check for updates on the printer screen and it reports that it is up to date, so obviously the internet is visible to the printer, but trying to access the web services give the no communication with the server.

I guess this is a lesson on taking something that worked well (quick forms) and making all kinds of changes and web based and now it's just plain broken

if I go to the hpsmart.com there is no printer attached to the account, but if I go to the hp smart app on my phone the printer is attached there, both use the same login information. Go figure
