My printer is printing fine, but the hp smart web page account page is stating that it is not connected to the internet although printing via wireless is fine and my PC and laptops have no issue printing. There is no data for billing cycles since October. I have reset the network settings but still showing as 'Unable to connect to printer'. Hope you can help

Hi @baztard2808,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like there might be an issue with the connection between your HP OfficeJet Pro 9014e printer and the HP Smart web service. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.
- Verify Internet Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the internet. You can do this by printing a network configuration page from the printer's control panel. Make sure that the printer is connected to the same network as your computer and other devices.
- Restart Printer and Router: Sometimes, simply restarting the printer and the router can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off both the printer and the router, wait for a few minutes, and then turn them back on. Allow them to fully reboot before testing the connection again.
- Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve connectivity issues and improve performance. You can usually update the firmware from the printer's control panel or through the HP Smart app.
- Check HP Smart Account Settings: Log in to your HP Smart web account and ensure that the printer is correctly added to your account. You may need to remove the printer from your account and re-add it to refresh the connection.
- Reinstall HP Smart App: If you're using the HP Smart app on your PC or laptop, try reinstalling the app to see if that resolves the issue. Sometimes, reinstalling the app can fix any software-related issues that may be causing connectivity problems.
By following these steps, you should hopefully be able to resolve the connectivity issue between your HP OfficeJet Pro 9014e printer and the HP Smart web service.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
