HP OfficeJet 5230 All-in-One Printer

All,

since weeks my printer is unable to connect to webservices. I have tried all the solutions offered in the community, including restore to factory setting. Any advice please?

I have enrolled to the HP Ink print plan as well and now it does not recognize the printer so I cannot even use the cartridges.

Kind Regards
Mo

Hi @Monibo21

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing issues with EWS

Please follow the steps below:

 1) Launch the HP Smart app.

2) Tap on the printer icon.

3) Tap on "Advanced Settings" located under "Advanced". This will launch the EWS page.

4) Expand "Network" and then tap on "Wi-Fi Direct" > Status > "Edit Settings" to change the password and reconnect/re-enable EWS.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Restart the printer, router, and computer
Turn off the printer.
Disconnect any USB or Ethernet cables from the printer. ...
Disconnect the power cord from the Wi-Fi router, wait fifteen seconds, reconnect the cord, and then wait for the lights to display a connected status.
Restart the computer.
Turn on the printer.

Greetings,

Unfortunately this did not work. I have WebServices enabled but still I cannot connect the printer to ePrint. So the printer cannot print anything.

Thank you Peter, but unfortunately this solution did not work either.
