Hi @leo391,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that you are facing problems where your computer or device is unable to find your HP printer, and you're unable to resolve it, contacting HP Support is a good next step.

Reset Printer’s Network Settings

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup → Network Settings → Restore Network Defaults.
  • This clears any old Wi‑Fi profiles that may be blocking connection.

Reconnect to Wi‑Fi

  • Use the Wireless Setup Wizard to connect to your current Wi‑Fi.
  • Make sure you’re on the 2.4 GHz band (many HP printers don’t support 5 GHz).
  • Enter the Wi‑Fi password carefully

Reinstall Printer on Computer

  • On your PC, go to Settings → Devices → Printers & scanners.
  • Remove the old printer entry.
  • Re‑add the printer using Add Printer → Add by TCP/IP address (find the IP from the printer’s Network Configuration Page).

Update Drivers

  • Download and install the Full Feature Software and Driver package for your printer model from HP’s official support site.
  • This ensures Windows/Mac recognizes the printer properly.

Test Printing

  • Print a test page from both your computer and phone (via HP Smart or AirPrint).
  • If it works from the HP app but not elsewhere, clear the print spooler and reinstall drivers.

Take care and have an amazing day!
