Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8028e All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Unable to open Printer Home Page from HP Support Assistant. Get the following error message in Google Chrome:
This site can’t be reached
127.0.0.1 refused to connect.
Try:
- Checking the connection
- Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
The printer's Wi-Fi Network Test Results, Web Access Test Results, and HP Network Configuration Page do not identify any problems that I can identify. I have tried restarting my router, clearing browser cache, temporarily disabling virus scan and proxy server, clearing DNS cache, disabling all but a few browser extensions, and reinstalling Google Chrome. I get similar error message when I try to open printer home page in Microsoft Edge. My motive for wanting to access the printer's home page is to access photo printing options on my printer.
