HO Officejet 8715
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello, I hope someone is able to assist me because the HP support person insists on collecting all sorts of  personal info for a printer that is out of warranty before he will answer my question. My problem is I am unable to print wirelessly  from a computer on my home network to my HP 8715 because the Pin # I  I must enter is not recognized by the printer.

My question is: How (where) can I access the printer's setting for the Pin Number?

I would really like to change the Pin number so I can print from a pc on my network. Better yet, I may even disable this &%(*$% pin requirement altogether,.

Thank you in advance,

Last week, I asked the community how I can access and update the pin number used to connect to and print a document from a computer connected to my home network wirelessly. Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi @Umrk,

I'd like to help!

Could you share an image of the screen requesting a pin/password?
