I have an HP PageWide Managed MFP P57750dw printer. I have printed and scanned to this printer from various computers. Currently, I’m using the SPECTRE laptop. About two months ago, give or take a day or two, when I tried to connect to the printer it requested an 8-digit PIN code. I was informed by the “connection app” that the code could be found on the back of the Router. There is no 8-digit code on the back of the Router. There are various 12- and 13-digit codes, no 8-digit codes. The other option was to connect using a security code, whatever code that is. I assumed it was the security code to sign onto my system. That was a false assumption, so now for two months I have not been able to print. Also, by the way, I can print documents from WhatsApp on my phone. I suspect it may have been caused by the forced Microsoft updates one gets from time to time, but I could be wrong. Can anyone help?
