I downloaded the latest update from HP for my .Deskjet 7612 and now my laptop cannot connect to the printer. Unable to get the laptop to connect and have tried at least a dozen times with no results.

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP DeskJet Printer cannot connect to laptop. I apologize for the Inconvenience.
I have a few recommendations
- First, try restarting your computer, printer and wireless router. To check if your printer is connected to your network: Print a Wireless Network Test report from the printer control panel. On many printers pressing the Wireless button allows direct access to printing this report.
