HP Deskjet 3435

Hi out there, just want to let all know how disappointed I am with the online printing with HP Deskjet 3435 (home use). There is no logic at all in the functioning and I feel that I am totally lost in the system. Latest: my (HP) Notebook was luckily online connected to the printer. I was able to print out a page. After that I wanted to scan the document with the device. I launched HP Smart on my Notebook, but the message pops up saying that there is no connection between them. Since connectivity is an issue with this printer, we are using a backup solution in the family: a long USB cable. With that, after turning off and turning on the printer,  and unplugging /plugging in the cable to my notebook I was finally able to scan the document. Usually we are unable to use the device  without the cable. I was able to connect it to our home wi fi network a few times, but then its enough to change the ink cartridge in the printer and connection is lost. Furthermore: assistance is impossible to reach. The chatbot is useless. Extremely complicated way to communicate with the company, I was not able to get any help so far from a living person. I gave up and after using HP printers at home for 25 years I am ready to switch to an another brand.

Hi, I am having the same problems as you, my daughter also has this printer and she has problems with hers, this printer is useless, and like you I can't get any help or connection from the company, I ve rang several tele nos but it just goes off. The after sales is atrocious. So I m going to try to find my shopping rights as see if they can help.
