Hi @ian008,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you have forgotten the password for the web interface of your HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3635 All-In-One Printer, you may need to perform a factory reset on the printer to reset the password. Here's a general guide on how to do this.

  • Power Off the Printer: Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cable from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for a Few Seconds: Allow the printer to remain off for about 10-15 seconds.
  • Press and Hold the Wireless Button: While keeping the printer off, press and hold the wireless button (located on the printer's control panel) and simultaneously press the Cancel button. Hold both buttons for about 5 seconds, and then release them.
  • Resume Button: After releasing the wireless and cancel buttons, press the Resume button (represented by a triangle icon) once.
  • Check Status Lights: Look at the front panel of the printer. The wireless light should blink. Once the blinking stops, the printer has been reset to its factory settings.
  • Reconnect Power: Reconnect the power cable to the printer.
  • Wait for Initialization: Turn on the printer and wait for it to initialize. This may take a few minutes.
  • Connect to the Web Interface: Once the printer has restarted, connect your computer or device to the same network as the printer. Then, open a web browser and enter the printer's IP address in the address bar. You can find the IP address on the printer's control panel or by printing a network configuration page.
  • Default Credentials: The default username and password for the web interface are usually "admin" for both fields. Enter these credentials to access the web interface.

Please note that performing a factory reset will erase any custom settings you have configured on the printer, including wireless network settings. After accessing the web interface, you can reconfigure the printer settings as needed.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

hi there @Alden4 I already follow the procedure by putting admin on both boxes, but still, it won't me login, i did it 4x already. Is there any other more ways to let me use the web interface otherwise it won't connect to my Wi-Fi network. I'm using windows 11 version 23H2.
