Hello,

on my printer the blue wlan light went off for some reason. I cannot switch it on. Printer reboot / reset, pressing the wlan button, pressing it for 5 seconds, holding it together with the power button to do a makers reset, usind the print and scan doctor, nothing helps. the wlan light does not come on thus the device is offline, also its direct print network is not shown.

Additiopnally it blinks yellow with E0. There are cartridges  from this ink-abo inserted, I suppose thats why. I connected it via USB but I cannot pront nor am I able to start the devices wlan. Any idea that might help?.

Hello,

thanks for the advise.

I did the steps but it did not help. The cardridges are from the ink abo. The e0 came because the printer was offline. The wlan was off as I wrote, and I did not find any way to get it back on.

In the meantime I was in a support chat with one of your colleagues. We tried a lot of steps. At the end after the third factory reset the wlan symbol came suddenly on and I could bring the printer back online.

So the probelm is solved.

Thanks again.

Best Regards

Heiko

@Curzon32, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

An E0 error indicates an unusable cartridge.

This occurs when one or both ink cartridges need attention. Reseat both cartridges, clean the ink cartridge contacts, restart the printer, and replace one or both ink cartridges if necessary.

Restart the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
  3. Remove the cartridges.
  4. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  5. Plug the power cord back in.
  6. Wai for few minutes and then insert the cartridges (let printer prompt for cartridges)
  7. Turn on the printer

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows only):

Update Printer Firmware (Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support)

  • Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page. Enter your printer model number and search for the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to download and install the firmware update.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
