Hi @NVGal,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
The HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 series supports WPA2-Personal (AES) security protocols, but does not natively support WPA3.
WPA3 is a newer Wi-Fi security standard that requires compatible hardware and firmware updates, and most printers released before 2021 (including the 9025) typically do not support it.
1. Check Your Router Settings
Most modern routers offer "mixed mode" (WPA2/WPA3) for compatibility.
- Log in to your router’s admin page.
- Look for Wi-Fi Security settings.
- Change the security mode to WPA2/WPA3-Personal (AES) or WPA2-Personal (AES).
This allows devices like your 9025 to connect using WPA2 while still letting newer devices use WPA3 where supported.
2. Reconnect the Printer
Once your network is in a compatible mode:
- On your printer’s control panel, go to
Setup > Network Setup > Wireless Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard - Select your network.
- Enter the password.
- Confirm the connection.
3. Check for Firmware Updates
It’s always worth making sure your printer has the latest firmware:
- On the printer screen, go to
Setup > Printer Maintenance > Update the Printer - Install any available updates.
While it won’t add WPA3 support, it ensures you have the latest stability and security improvements.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
