Where can I find my HP 2600 series WPS PIN when I cannot print and do not have the info that came with the printer?  I uninstalled and tried to reinstall the printer without knowing I needed the WPS PIN.  Can someone help?

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Finding the WPS PIN for HP DeskJet 2600 All-in-One Printer Series! 

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.  

  

If you don't have the WPS PIN information that came with your HP DeskJet 2600 series printer, you can find it using the following steps:

Print Network Configuration Page:

  • Press the Wireless button and the Information button on the printer control panel simultaneously. This will print the network configuration page which includes the WPS PIN.

Generate a New PIN:

  • Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for more than three seconds to start WPS push mode. The wireless light will start blinking, indicating that it is in WPS mode. You can then press the WPS button on your router to complete the connection.

Access Printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS):

  • You can also access your printer’s EWS to find or reset the WPS PIN. Follow the steps below:
    • Connect your printer to your computer via USB cable.
    • Open a web browser and enter the printer's IP address to access the EWS.
    • Navigate to the wireless settings to locate or reset the WPS PIN.
