Just to mention, I do have a print out of the printer from 2-3 days ago, (HP Network Configuration Page) I could scan and post it here if you think it would help or would it not be safe?

Hello,
Is your printer already connected to the wireless network?
Have you created a password to access the printer's web page (EWS)?
I think the printer has an EWS password and it is requested. EWS = Embbedded Web Server. To solve this the printer must be reset.
Are you registered for HP Instant Ink?
Try printing a network configuration page, then look for the WPS PIN or PIN Code it is this one that is requested.
Don't hesitate to contact us in case of need.

Mans I owe you an apology :
I have been stupid, when you said control panel I assumed and used the control panel on the PC, sorry about that. On the print out of network configuration the only mention of WPS is in fine print at the bottom of last page, one (yes) for Vodafone and another (yes) for Trustpower I am with Vodafone and have no idea what the trustpower is there for.
There are 2 headings that show what could be a code they are under Auth and Encrypt is one of these the code that I am looking for?
If this is unclear I can post that part of the page on this thread.
