Wake up on LAN HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3302

Hello just a quick question on the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3302.

Is there any possibility to enable Wakeup on LAN (WoL) on this model, after it reached it´s power saving mode?

Verify Printer Firmware

Some HP printers require the latest firmware to support advanced network features.

Go to HP Support → Drivers & Firmware → HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3302 → Firmware and update if needed.

Use a Wired Connection

WoL generally does not work over Wi-Fi, only over Ethernet.

Connect the printer directly to the router via Ethernet to use WoL.

Enable WoL via Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Open a web browser and enter the printer’s IP address to access EWS.

Look under Networking → Ethernet → Advanced Settings → Wake on LAN and enable it.

Check PC / Network Tool

Use a WoL tool or command to send the “magic packet” to the printer’s MAC address.

Ensure the router/firewall allows UDP packets for WoL.

Limitations

HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3300 series supports Wake on LAN only on wired networks.

If the printer is in deep sleep or powered off completely, WoL may not work.

Hi and thank you for your help.

The FW is on the highest level, but no WoL option does show up in the printer panel- or WEB GUI.

I use only the wired 1GE ETH RJ45 connection.

But I solved the topic for me as such:

I power on the printer and use the power saving after 15 minutes 

Then I set the power off timer to 4 hours.

So I have to switch the printer on max. 2 times during the home office hours.
