Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Printer stopped trying to print over a printed page. Logged in to HPSmart and a tech named Nick Martin attempted to fix problem He said my network was infected bt +- 5000 foreigen entities and show them on the screen. Could not start printer but wanted me to pay for Web Planets to fix problem for $499.99. Wife suggests it may be a scam so we discontinued with Nick Martin.  Called a friend and they suggested removing printer, reinstalling printer and I got printer working again. Now if HPSmart has a Nick Martin this attempted scam needs to be addressed. RS Plauche'3/7/2024
